Three students from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University’s Department of Journalism and Mass Communication (JOMC) – sophomore Kennidi Cottle and seniors Santroya Pitzer and Bria Williams – were selected to participate in the University of Georgia’s seventh annual Myra Blackmon AdPr Academy for Diversity & Inclusion one-week intensive seminar in Atlanta.

F.D. Bluford Library has been awarded a $50,000 Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant to create the Bluford Maker Lab: Design Your Future and a $93,704 LSTA grant to launch a program where students will create instructional videos on topics relevant to information literacy and research under the direction of the library.
