For prospective students, the Cost of Attendance (COA) is an estimate of the total expenses associated with attending North Carolina A&T State University as a full-time student. In addition to tuition and fees, the COA includes projected costs for housing, meals, books, supplies, transportation, and other basic living expenses. This estimate helps students and families better understand the overall financial commitment of attending the university.
After the add/drop period each semester, your COA will be updated to reflect the actual number of credit hours in which you are enrolled. Initially, all students are assigned an off-campus housing estimate for financial aid purposes; however, this does not indicate where you will live. Once on-campus housing assignments and charges are finalized, your COA will be adjusted to match your housing status, and financial aid eligibility may be revised if necessary. For more information regarding tuition and fees, visit the Treasurer's Office website.
