Bradley '13 Named to Triad Business Journal’s 2026 40 Under 40 List

EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. (Dec. 3, 2025) — North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University alumnus Brandon L. Daye has been selected as one of six national finalists for the 2025 Bank of America Panther Ticket Teacher of the Year Award, an honor recognizing educators who make significant contributions inside the classroom and across their communities.
Daye was nominated by his students at Hugh M. Cummings High School in Burlington, North Carolina, and selected based on his clarity, thoughtfulness and passion in teaching, his innovative work in sports and entertainment marketing, student engagement and his commitment to building partnerships between education, business and community systems.
As a finalist, Daye represented the Alamance-Burlington School System at the Carolina Panthers home game against the Buffalo Bills on Oct. 26 in Charlotte, North Carolina, which he attended as a guest of Bank of America and Panthers. Finalists receive a prize package including a personalized Panthers jersey, an autographed team item and two complimentary game tickets. The Teacher of the Year, to be announced at a future home game, will receive a $5,000 classroom grant in addition to the full prize pack.
A proud December 2024 graduate of N.C. A&T, Daye earned a B.S. in agribusiness and a B.S. in supply chain management, as well as professional certificates in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Business Analytics, and Waste Management.
While at A&T, Daye served as senior class president in the Student Government Association, Student Food Advisory Board president, Campus Life Committee chair, Leadership Engagement and Development Program development coordinator, Get Out the Vote and Excitement Workgroup chair for the University Civic Engagement Coalition, College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences senator, Aggie Success Leader, and student athletic equipment manager. He also was recognized as an inaugural member of The Andrew Goodman Foundation’s Alumni Hall of Fame in 2024 for cultivating active civic engagement among peers and constituents at the university, having been named a 2021 All In Campus Democracy Challenge honoree.
Now in his first year as an educator, Daye teaches Honors Sports and Entertainment Marketing I & II at Cummings High School in Burlington, where he also is an alumnus. His curriculum emphasizes real-world application of marketing concepts including branding, sponsorships, event operations, market research and data-driven strategic planning.
Beyond the classroom, Daye re-chartered and advises the school’s DECA chapter. He also founded the Gentlemen’s Club, a mentorship and leadership initiative dedicated to character, professionalism and community service among young men. Additionally, he co-founded Daye Consulting Group LLC, a leadership and strategic consulting firm with his twin brother, Bryan L. Daye ‘25.
