EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. (Oct. 17, 2025) – Two remarkable North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University graduates – Uduak Ndoh and NaTasha Yvette Williams – will serve as Fall 2025 Commencement keynote speakers, university officials announced today.
Ndoh ‘99, vice chancellor for Information Technology, Health Sciences and deputy chief information officer at the University of Pittsburgh, is the keynote speaker for the graduate student ceremony Friday, Dec. 12, at 6 p.m. in First Horizon Coliseum at the Greensboro Complex.
Ndoh received his B.S. in chemical engineering from N.C. A&T and his MBA from Wake Forest University’s Babcock School of Business. A recognized leader in academic medicine IT, Ndoh is known for building high-performance teams, aligning technology with institutional strategy and fostering innovation that advances the tripartite mission of education, research and service.
At Pitt, Ndoh directs large-scale IT strategy and operations supporting education, research and clinical missions in a $3 billion enterprise. He oversees enterprise applications, customer success and technology engagement across the university while driving transformative initiatives for the Schools of the Health Sciences. His leadership has advanced artificial intelligence strategy, strengthened clinical trial infrastructure, consolidated distributed IT services, and established the Health Sciences and Sports Analytics Cloud Innovation Center in partnership with AWS.
Previously, Ndoh served as chief information officer and associate dean for Information Technology at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He spearheaded strategic planning, enterprise resource planning modernization and IT governance while advancing technology to support faculty retention, student success and research excellence. His earlier leadership roles at Duke University’s Clinical Research Institute shaped enterprise IT modernization, business intelligence and clinical systems strategy for a $280 million research enterprise.
Williams ‘92, a Grammy Award-winning and Tony Award-nominated Broadway performer, is the keynote speaker for the baccalaureate student ceremony Saturday, Dec. 13, at 9 a.m. in First Horizon Coliseum.
Williams earned her BFA from A&T and MFA from Michigan State University. Having built a career that spans Broadway, television, film and international stages, her artistry has made her one of the most celebrated voices of her generation.
On Broadway, Williams has delivered powerhouse performances in Some Like It Hot, The Color Purple (original company), Chicago, Waitress and A Night with Janis Joplin. She stars in the blockbuster musical Wicked, where she brings depth and brilliance to the role of Madame Morrible. Beyond Broadway, her television credits include FBI, Harlem, Grey’s Anatomy, NOS4A2 and Godfather of Harlem. Her film work includes Alice and Sweet Little Lies.
A woman of faith and vision, Williams is a founding member of Black Theater United, an advocacy organization dedicated to supporting and uplifting Black artists. She is also a mentor and educator, committed to nurturing the next generation of storytellers and encouraging them to pursue their dreams with courage and authenticity.
Williams is producing her first feature film, Beyond the Diamond, and creating Good Moments, Good Forever, a video series celebrating the people, places and experiences that inspire lasting impact.
Williams received the 2021 N.C. A&T Alumni Achievement Award from the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences in recognition of her outstanding accomplishments, emphasizing her significant contributions to both the arts and her alma mater.
About 900 students, including more than 300 graduate students, will participate during the ceremonies, which will be livestreamed.
