Intelligent.com Ranks N.C. A&T Degree Programs among Best for 2024

EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. (Nov. 15, 2023) – Intelligent.com has ranked North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University among the best for 2024 in eight categories, including three degree programs in the top 10.

The website uses exclusive methodology to rank each institution on a scale from 0 to 100 across six categories. Evaluations are based on quantitative measures such as academic quality, graduation rate, cost and return on investment, and student resources.

N.C. A&T’s programs ranking in the top 10 are No. 2, Top Historically Black College or University (HBCU) Online MBA Degree Programs; No. 9, Best Online Bachelor’s in Economics Degree Programs; and No. 10, Best Online Master's in Information Systems and Technology Degree Programs.

The MBA Program at A&T offers a professional graduate business degree that provides students with a thorough understanding of the basic business essentials (economics, accounting, finance, management, and marketing) followed by an intensive study in one of four business concentrations: accounting, general management, human resource management, and supply chain management.

A&T’s online B.S. in economics, also offered through the Deese College, provides students with a strong foundation in critical and analytical thinking, data analysis, communication, and the theoretical and empirical modeling of individuals, firms and markets. It is one of only a handful of undergraduate online programs in the U.S. that offers a dedicated economics degree rather than a concentration in a business degree. It also is the only one at an HBCU and consistently ranks among the top online economics programs in the United States.

The university’s M.S. in information technology program, offered through the College of Science and Technology, prepares students to pursue technical as well as management careers in all employment sectors. The program also emphasizes core theoretical concepts in information technology along with intensive hands-on experience with the latest software. Research areas include cloud computing, computer and network security, high performance computing and wireless networking.
