EAST GREENSBORO, NC (Nov. 30, 2020) – Recruitment and transfer articulation just got a little bit easier as the Office of Admissions at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University launched its online Transfer Credit Articulation Tool.
“The Transfer Credit Articulation Tool will provide students with real-time information regarding courses acquired outside of A&T and how they will be evaluated within our systems,” said Jacqueline Powers, associate vice provost for Enrollment Management. “We heard the concerns of students, parents, guidance counselors and others. This tool provides early answers so that students can make informed decisions prior to enrolling at the university or registering for classes. Although it should be used in an unofficial capacity, we definitely see it as a gamechanger.”
The tool serves as a guide to research courses for transfer credit and will be helpful for potential transfer students looking for general guidance and evaluation of prior earned credits. It will also provide continuing students with timely degree progression information when taking courses outside of the university.
The tool is updated daily as new transcripts are reviewed. Upon admission, students will receive an official transfer credit evaluation from the Office of Transfer Articulation.
