N.C. A&T Homecoming Week-long Lineup Includes Comedy Show, Concerts
EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. (Aug. 28, 2019) – North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University will hold annual homecoming celebrations and activities Oct. 20-27.
In addition to numerous college and department events, the celebration includes comedy and step shows and two homecoming concerts.
The week features:
- “Aggieland 29N Homecoming Comedy Show,” at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, at Corbett Sports Center boasts an all-star lineup including Pretty Vee of MTV’s Wild ‘N Out; Desi Banks, known for his YouTube and Instagram sketches; Karlous Miller, also of Wild ‘N Out; and Emanuel Hudson, comedian and social media sensation. The night will consist of standup comedy, games and skits.
- The Aggie homecoming step show, “Step Into the Light,” highlighting campus Greek sororities and fraternities is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, at Greensboro Coliseum.
- The Aggie homecoming concert, showcasing hip hop artists 21 Savage, Yo Gotti, Blac Youngsta, Stunna 4 Vegas and a special surprise guest, will begin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Greensboro Coliseum.
- The Aggie Homecoming Gospel Show, “Life of Praise,” presented by the Student Government Association and the Student University Activities Board, will feature Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductees John P. Kee and Donald Lawrence & Company. N.C. A&T’s own award-winning gospel choir will also perform. The event is at 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, at Greensboro Coliseum.
Tickets for on-campus events and all student tickets are available at the Brown Hall ticket office. General public tickets for events at Greensboro Coliseum are available via Ticketmaster and the coliseum box office.
