A&T Moving to Condition 2 at Noon Wednesday Through Noon Thursday
In anticipation of challenging winter weather over the next 48 hours, North Carolina A&T State University will move to Condition 2 (suspended operations) beginning at noon Wednesday, Feb. 18, and continuing until noon Thursday, Feb. 19.
Only mandatory employees will remain at work; all other employees must leave the workplace during this period. Employees must use leave for any work time missed, unless they are authorized to work off site or Gov. Josh Stein issues an order permitting leave with pay.
University officials earlier today announced they are rescheduling the A&T Spring Career Fair, which had originally been set for Wednesday and Thursday. Likewise, the A&T Farmers Market has been canceled for this week.
During the Condition 2 span, the A&T Student Center will be closed, including all its dining operations. Williams Dining Hall will remain open.
Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to monitor university e-mail accounts, websites and social media for additional information as it becomes available.
