EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. (March 5, 2024) – Summer break is in just a few months. North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University offers a variety of enriching camps and programs offering youth to explore, learn new skills and prepare for the future.
Camp programs range in focus from entrepreneurship and innovation to agriculture, reading development, college readiness and coding to empowerment. The activities are held for various times throughout the summer and include options for different age ranges and classifications.
Campers will enjoy programs such as “Entrepreneurs and Innovators – Nexgen Residential Summer Camp;” “Youth Innovators Empowering Agriculture-Research and Extension Apprenticeship Program;” “Freedom School Summer Camp;” and many more.
In connection with the Upward Bound Program, the university also hosts the “Upward Bound Summer Component” exclusively available to students enrolled in the Trio Upward Bound Program offering academic courses, workshops, and enrichment activities designed to enhance and boost academic performance and prepare for higher education.
Additionally, many university athletics programs host summer programs open to the public.
