A virtual forum will be held Thursday, Dec. 2, from 9 to 10 a.m. to familiarize faculty and staff with A&T’s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP).
Please plan to attend and learn more about the QEP, its implementation and its role in A&T’s affirmation of accreditation review by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).
A key requirement of the reaffirmation process is that institutions provide a QEP that focuses on improving learning outcomes and/or student success around a specific theme. A&T’s QEP for this reaffirmation cycle addresses improving student performance in general education mathematics.
Regina Williams Davis, Ph.D., interim vice provost for student success and university registrar, will facilitate the Dec. 2 forum. Panelists are:
- Provost Beryl McEwen, Ph.D., executive vice chancellor for Academic Affairs
- Associate mathematics professor Barbara Tankersley, Ph.D.
- College of Science and Technology Dean Abdellah Ahmidouch, Ph.D.
- Mathematics professor and chair Guoqing Tang, Ph.D.
- QEP advisory board chair Joanie Chavis
A question-and-answer session will follow brief presentations by each panelist.
