STAIR Internship in Research Administration
Are you interested in exploring a career in academia and the field of research administration? This fully funded, remote, 10-week training program (September - November) is designed to introduce students to the field of research administration and explore related career pathways. It offers online foundational training in research administration, one-on-one mentorship, and hands-on practicum experience for undergraduate students interested in exploring research administration as a potential career path.Participants will receive a $7,000 stipend upon full participation in all required meetings, timely completion of assignments, and submission of a final project. The U.S. National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates (NSF REU) program supports intensive research by undergraduate students in any area of research funded by NSF. Undergraduates (college and university students) can apply directly to REU Sites to participate in research projects across the United States and the world. 

The National Institutes of Health Summer Internship Program (NIH SIP) is for college, graduate and professional students interested in exploring careers in research and healthcare. Summer interns work in a research groups directed by a Principal Investigator (PI). Students interested in biology, engineering, epidemiology, psychology, mathematics, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, nursing, physics, computer science, bioinformatics, and other health-related fields are invited to apply. 

The Summer Research Early Identification Program (SR-EIP) at the Leadership Alliance is a fully paid summer internship that provides undergraduates with training and mentoring in the principles underlying the conduct of research and prepares them to pursue competitive applications to PhD or MD-PhD programs. The SR-EIP offers closely mentored research experiences in the life and physical sciences, social and behavioral sciences, and the humanities
