Student Resources for Undergraduate Research
Are you interested in being part of a research project? Working with a team in a bio-engineering laboratory or conducting social science research in the field? Research experience can open up new horizons for you and help you connect with interests you may not even know you have. At North Carolina A&T, undergraduate students are a vital part of our research program, playing meaningful roles in projects that answer important questions and move the frontiers of scientific knowledge forward.
What is Undergraduate Research?
Undergraduate research is a process of asking questions, solving problems, and creating new knowledge under the guidance of a faculty mentor. It can happen in a lab, library, community, classroom, or studio. Research isn’t just for science majors — it exists in all fields, including the arts, humanities, business, social sciences, and engineering.
