Animal Science Facilities

The Department of Animal Science occupies portions of B.C. Webb Hall.

Webb houses N.C. A&T’s 13,000-square-foot Laboratory Animal Resources Unit, along with classroom, laboratories and research laboratories equipped with leading-edge scientific instrumentation. Research and instruction are facilitated by bioinformatics and microarrays laboratories.

The department also utilizes the 492-acre University Farm, featuring active livestock and horticultural production, enabling students and faculty to engage in teaching, engagement and discovery with the agricultural community.

If you are considering a major in Animal Sciences, please contact the department to arrange a tour of our facilities.
