Department of Liberal Studies
Where students become designers of their destiny!
Unique among undergraduate programs, the Department of Liberal Studies provides an exciting and rigorous major in seven concentrations. Students and faculty dedicated to interdisciplinary, cross-disciplinary, and trans-disciplinary studies collaborate in research in African-American Studies, Cultural Studies, International Studies, Pre-Law, Race, Class and Culture, and Women's Studies.
Additionally, select students may design, plan and execute their own individualized majors. Our department offers students an opportunity for minors in Spanish, French and philosophy. Ready to create your own future? Design your destiny in LIBS!
