Office of Partnerships and Engagement

The Office of Partnerships & Engagement (OPE) is a central unit within the Division of Strategic Partnerships and Economic Development (SPED) at North Carolina A&T State University. OPE is responsible for establishing and managing Principal Partnerships, ensuring that collaborations between the University and external stakeholders are
strategic, impactful, and sustainable.

Mission and Purpose
The mission of the Office of Partnerships & Engagement is to cultivate and manage high-impact relationships between North Carolina A&T and key external entities—including industry, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and
community groups. By facilitating partnerships that drive academic enrichment, workforce development, innovation, and economic growth, OPE enhances the University’s capacity to serve students, faculty, and the broader community.

The Office of Partnerships & Engagement plays a pivotal role in identifying, developing, and managing principal partnerships, ensuring that each collaboration aligns with the University’s mission and long-term goals.
