The Aggie Experience
Each summer, North Carolina A&T State University’s Summer Conference Housing welcomes hundreds of interns, conference attendees, and students from all over the world to the heart of Greensboro, North Carolina. We take pride in offering convenient, flexible, and affordable housing arrangements at the No. 1 HBCU in the nation. Our staff is committed to making sure your stay is rewarding, educational, and, above all, memorable.
North Carolina A&T is spread over 200 beautiful acres at the center of North Carolina’s Piedmont. Greensboro, North Carolina offers plenty to do for all ages! We recommend visiting the International Civil Rights Center and Museum located in our historic downtown, approximately 9 blocks from campus. For evening shopping and dinner arrangements, visit Friendly Shopping Center and Four Seasons Town Centre Mall. The Greensboro Coliseum also attracts major sporting events and entertainment during the summer.

Summer Conference Housing will open its doors beginning May 22nd. The last date for Organizations and Groups to reside in Summer Conference Housing is July 15th. When you are ready to book your event, you will simply fill out our Summer Conference Request Form. This form will ask general questions and will allow changes up to a certain deadline. Once the application is submitted, you will be contacted by a Conference Housing Team Member.

Our Residential Community Offers…
Lodging
During the summer, North Carolina A&T may offer traditional or suite-style residence halls with private, single, and double room accommodations. Traditional residence halls share a bathroom with the hall. Suite-style residence halls share a bathroom within the suite. A single room means that one person is assigned to a room. A double room means that two people are assigned to a room (rates are based on per person, per night charges – not per room). Rooms are furnished with twin XL frames/mattresses, dresser drawers, desks, chairs, and closets.
Other Amenities
Each residence hall has a laundry room and vending areas.
Technology Capabilities
All rooms have cable TV and Wi-Fi accessibility in each residence hall. No TV or laptop? Most of our residence halls come equipped with computer labs and lobbies.
Meeting Spaces
Our residence halls have lounges and common areas, which can be used for study/social lounges. However, if you need more formal meeting rooms, space is available on other parts of our campus. Many of our Academic buildings offer traditional meeting rooms and classroom space that can be reserved through the University Event Center.
Aggie One Card
The Aggie One Card is your passport to many services on campus. It gives you access into the residences halls and Williams Dining Hall serves as your official University Identification Card and holds funds for laundry and snacks in the vending machines/C-Stores.
Dining Services
While staying with us at North Carolina A&T, we hope that you take advantage of our University’s dining services. On-campus (summer) options include cafeteria-style meals and a convenience store. Also available to our conference guests are banquet and catering services for special occasions.
Safe and Convenient Parking
If your participants plan to bring a car to campus, parking permits are required! Parking permits are available with Parking Services for a small fee.
