Welcome International Students and Scholars

Welcome to North Carolina A&T State University! This webpage will provide you with some important information to help you prepare for your stay at NCAT. Please contact us if you have further questions after reading this material. The Office of International Affairs (OIA) provides many services for the University’s international students, scholars, and their families including advice on immigration-related matters, orientation programs, and cross-cultural programs for students, scholars, and spouses.We are excited you have arrived safely on campus and want to make your check-in process smooth.

First, we would first like you to mark your calendar to attend our International Student Orientation. 

• Date: Friday, August 16, 2024
• Location: ACB, room 109
• Lunch at 12:00 pm
• Orientation: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Next, we need you to check in with our office, please bring copies of your I20, passport,visa, I94 and a US address.  Once you have checked in with the OIA, we will remove your holds to allow you to register for classes and enroll in the university student health Insurance. ( All International students must enroll and you cannot waive out of the insurance)
