North Carolina A&T has a strong commitment to preparing our students to become leaders of the next generation. A&T students to participate in a meaningful international experience that will enhance their academic and career goals.
 
Our Global Partnerships
 
One of the best ways to explore and learn about a new culture is through North Carolina A&T’s established international partnerships. N.C. A&T has partnered with a variety of prestigious universities worldwide, offering diverse opportunities for study abroad experiences, including:
 
Baden-Württemberg/North Carolina Exchange Program (Germany & NC, USA)
 
Formed in 1996, this program connects all 15 University of North Carolina System campuses with 9 universities in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Students can study abroad while remaining enrolled at their home institution without additional tuition fees. Learn more on the Baden-Württemberg/North Carolina Exchange Program page.
 
France
 
EIGSI University. Founded in 1901 in Paris, EIGSI is one of France’s oldest private engineering schools. Located since 1990 on the university campus of La Rochelle, on the French Atlantic Coast, EIGSI welcomes international students under bilateral agreements, allowing study for one or more semesters. The Global Engineering Programme is exclusively taught in English with French language courses offered.
 
China
 
Fudan University. With over 115 years of history, Fudan University is a leading, research-driven institution in China, ranked among the top 3 nationally and 34th globally (2021 QS Rankings). Their International Summer Session program fosters multicultural understanding and global connections. Applications can be started via the UNCW Education Abroad website.
 
Sweden
 
Jönköping University. A young, professional-oriented university known for its internationalization, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong community engagement. It is one of Sweden’s few private institutions authorized to award doctorates. Mechanical Engineering majors are invited to participate in the exchange program.
 
Hong Kong
 
The University of Hong Kong. Established in 1911, tracing its roots to the 1887 Hong Kong College of Medicine for Chinese, HKU is the oldest tertiary institution in Hong Kong. The HKU Incoming Student Exchange Programme provides opportunities for international students; application details are available on their website.
