International Partnerships

North Carolina A&T has a strong commitment to preparing our students to become leaders of the next generation. We realize that a crucial ingredient in the success of our leaders is a meaningful and relevant international experience. Thus, we encourage every N.C. A&T students to participate in a meaningful international experience that will enhance their academic and career goals.

One way of exploring and learning a new culture is by North Carolina A&T established partnerships. NC A&T has partnered with a couple of international universities that can increase your interest in abroad opportunities:

• EIGSI University - Founded in 1901 in Paris, EIGSI is one of France’s oldest private engineering schools. Since 1990, EIGSI is located at the center of the university campus of La Rochelle, on the French Atlantic Coast. Each year, EIGSI welcomes international students under bilateral agreements with international institutions. The students entering the school under these agreements can study for one or more semesters. The Global Engineering Programme exclusively taught in English with courses of French as a foreign language. 
• The University of Hong Kong - Founded in 1911, its origins trace back to the Hong Kong College of Medicine for Chinese, which was founded in 1887. It is the oldest tertiary institution in Hong Kong. HKU Incoming Student Exchange Programme information is available on their website along with the application process. 
• Jönköping University is a young professional-oriented university characterized by a high degree of internationalization, an entrepreneurial spirit, and extensive collaboration with the surrounding society. It is one of three Swedish private, non-profit institutions of higher education with the right to award doctorates. Jönköping University invites Mechanical Engineering majors to participate in the exchange program, contact OIA for an application. 
• Fudan University - In the 115 years since its establishment, Fudan has been distinguished as the leading globally-focused, research-driven university in China. This recognition is reflected by the fact that Fudan has consistently been ranked among the top 3 universities in China and 34th worldwide according to the 2021 QS World University Rankings.  Fudan University International Summer Session program will help you achieve multicultural understanding, establish a global vision, and get connected with peers from all over the world. • The Baden-Wurttemberg/North Carolina Exchange Program - Serving all of the University of North Carolina System’s diverse campuses, the BW/NC Exchange Program was formed in 1996. We established study abroad exchange partnerships between the state of North Carolina’s 15 University campuses and the 9 Baden-Württemberg Universities in Germany.

  The BW/NC Exchange Program allows students to continue enrollment on their home campus while studying abroad at an exchange institution in Baden-Württemberg or North Carolina for no additional tuition. Visit Baden-Wurttemberg/North Carolina Exchange Programfor more information.
