Center of Excellence in Cybersecurity Research, Education and Outreach

OVERVIEW 
The Center for Excellence in Cybersecurity Research, Education and Outreach (CREO) focuses on expanding interest and knowledge about the field of cybersecurity. This is accomplished through cybersecurity research, education, and outreach collaborations internally, within N.C. A&T State University, as well as externally.

VISION 
The Center for Excellence in Cybersecurity is an inclusive community of stakeholders distinguished by interdisciplinary and innovative approaches that translate knowledge into solutions for cybersecurity challenges. 

MISSION
The mission of CREO is to leverage interdisciplinary and inclusive partnerships between NC A&T SU and its stakeholders to advance cybersecurity by:  

• Serving as the academic and research nexus for the development of advanced mathematical and computational techniques;  
• Empowering students, faculty and other members of the university community to engage in interdisciplinary thought and leadership in cybersecurity;  
• Evaluating and investigating socioeconomic practices and regulatory and public policy issues related to cybersecurity;  

• Creating approaches to secure valuable assets from cyber-threats.
