Biography

 

Captain Sean Blanton serves the United States Air Forces Air Education and Training Command, as the Recruiting Officer for Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 605 North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Greensboro, North Carolina. He leads the recruitment and education planning of ~126 officer candidates.

Captain Blanton commissioned into the Air Force in May 2018 from The Citadel AFROTC DET 765, South Carolina as a Final Management Officer. He has 7 years of active-duty service with assignments at Los Angeles AFB, Calif. and Dover AFB, Del. Before his current duty, he started his financial career working as a Cost Analyst for five different ACAT one programs then transition to overseeing the 436th Airlift Wing disbursing operations and base budget of $356.4M. Later on, he transition as Chief of Inspection for the 436th Inspector General where he was responsible for planning, executing, and managing the Wing Inspection Program.
