International Students

The Office of International Affairs (OIA) provides orientation for all new international students each fall and spring semester. These sessions take place before classes begin so students can get comfortable with the campus, learn important information, and start their academic journey with confidence.

New international student orientation is mandatory for all students in F and J visa status. Students who still need to complete the required OIA check in can schedule an appointment during this time. Orientation also includes updates on eligibility for work authorization and Social Security number approval.
