Community Engagement
The community engagement objectives of CIHDER are:
- Develop mechanisms for establishing lasting relationships with minority communities necessary for improving overall health by advancing health disparities research and achieving health equity.
- Serve as a pipeline for health disparities researchers and health professionals who will engage minority communities and work to alleviate health and equity disparities.
