Music Program

The North Carolina A&T Music Program has been fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) since 1991. We offer three degree programs for students wishing to pursue a career in music.

Our low student-teacher ratio ensures individual attention, and our faculty have studied with some of the world's finest musicians at leading colleges and universities. We emphasize career development and can place our graduates in competitive graduate schools or assist them in professional careers.

The Greater Greensboro Area is rich with performance opportunities and a consortium agreement with several other colleges/universities allows a wide range of flexibility in available courses. On campus you may participate in the University Concert, Symphonic, and Marching Bands; the University Choir; Chamber Singers, Jazz Ensemble, Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Opera Workshop; or Brass, Woodwind, and Percussion Ensembles.
