Dance Concentration

The Dance Concentration is part of the Liberal Studies curriculum but also is an essential part of Visual and Performing Arts. The major is comprised of 24 credits in dance including Study Abroad and Senior Project. The major is an intense study of both technical skill and scholarship. Majors are expected to audition for acceptance to the program and auditions are held at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters.

Our Study Abroad program requires all majors and minors to travel to an African or Caribbean Country for one month. Students are required to actively participate in the company to travel, have a passport and be financially responsible for a portion of their expenses.
