Notice To Out-Of-State Applicants
North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University (NCA&TSU) is currently working cooperatively with higher education authorities in all states to ensure compliance with state authorization requirements that govern the offering of online degree and certificate programs and courses in those states, including complaint processes. We strongly recommend that our prospective distance education students refer to the Approvals by State list to determine whether NCA&TSU is authorized to provide Postsecondary education in your state.
If you reside in an “unauthorized” state and plan to take distance education classes, please note that we are not authorized or exempted to offer distance education classes or programs to you as a resident of an “unauthorized” state. NCA&TSU will continue to monitor developments in the jurisdictions in which it enrolls students, and, if authorization or licensure is or becomes necessary, it will obtain approvals or provide notice here of the jurisdictions in which it is not authorized to offer courses or programs. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Distance Learning at (888) 498-6752 or distance@ncat.edu.
