- Video Projects
While photography is the primary focus for the University Photographer, occasional videography opportunity may be available based on special project basis.
Photo Request
Our services are provided by appointment only. A photo request must be received at least 7 days ahead of the event date. We cannot guarantee coverage for request received less than 72 hours before the event.
Weekday request will receive 24hr response. If you are requesting an appointment after 5pm or on the weekend, we may not be able to confirm your appointment till the following business day.
Due to the complexity of our calendar, a request does not guarantee we will be available for your need. Once you submit a photography request and it is added to our schedule, you will receive a confirmation email.
Photography Policy & Guidelines:
All photos taken by the University Photographer are the property of North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University.
N.C. A&T Photography images are protected by copyright and may not be duplicated, reproduced, used or sold without the permission of University Relations.
Process and guidelines have been established for obtaining photo release forms from key subjects in photos to be used by the university in print and digital publications. Departments requesting photography services are responsible for getting the photo releases signed by the subjects in the photos.
The following are recommended actions to maintain photo release records:
- Obtain a Photo Release Form from subjects before the photo session. If the subject in the photo is a minor, then a legal guardian must complete and sign the release form.
- A department may produce an electronic version of the signed release and store such in a secure shared electronic resource such as a shared drive.
- If the department wishes to store the image(s) in the University Digital Asset Management System, the department will be required to attest that Photo Release Forms are on file for each identifiable subject in the photos/videos.
