NOW: Strengthening Our Foundation

- Student Success: Prioritize holistic support for student achievement, including improved graduation rates, career readiness, and job placement outcomes.
- Customer Service and Operations: Elevate the efficiency and responsiveness of all university services to enhance the experience for students, faculty, staff, and partners.
- Leadership & People: Advance leadership development, right-size staffing, and execute strategic hires in key roles (e.g., Provost, CTIO, research partnerships).
- Community & Relationship Building: Building a new era of trust-based collaboration across campus and within our broader community — deepening connections, fulfilling our promises, and activating the full power of our alumni and stakeholder network

- Research Expansion: Drive capacity through interdisciplinary partnerships, strategic hires, and infrastructure—positioning NCAT as a leader in discovery and innovation on the path to R1 status.
- Programmatic Growth: Tailor academic offerings to meet the needs of both traditional and lifelong learners—leveraging frameworks like Project Kitty Hawk.
- Strategic marketing and communications plan: Amplify our growing national and global brand.
- School-Based Growth:
- Engineering / STEM & Business: Strengthen marquee programs and build industry-aligned capacity (e.g., Jet Zero, Toyota). o Agriculture: Grow externally matched research and teaching opportunities.
- Health & Human Sciences: Support the university’s fastest-growing school through new programs (PA, nursing, kinesiology) and planned infrastructure investments, with potential for a much larger profile in medicine/health.
BEYOND: Enabling Long-Term Impact

- Technology & Infrastructure: Modernize IT systems, build AI and high-performance computing capacity, and improve digital literacy to support learning, research, and operations.
