FIRST DESTINATION SURVEY FOR 2024-25 GRADUATES

First Destination Survey logoAs fall commencement nears, the Office of Career Services (OCS) is committed to supporting graduating seniors who are still seeking job opportunities or offers.

To facilitate this, all seniors are required to complete the First Destination Survey (FDS) prior to graduation, where they can detail their plans after college – whether pursuing a career, continuing education or entering the military.

This survey is essential as it enhances scholarship options, strengthens partnerships with employers, and supports national rankings and accreditation efforts.

OCS will also keep recent graduates updated on career opportunities.

Rest assured, all FDS responses are confidential and will not be shared with third parties.

Graduating seniors will receive an email with instructions for completing the survey and can pick up a free gift from OCS during the week of Dec. 9-12, while supplies last.

Complete the survey through Handshake at www.ncat.joinhandshake.com/first_destination_surveys/7846.

2024 GRADUATE SCHOOL EXPLORATION FAIR RECAP

four graduate students at spring 2024 commencementBefore you begin applying for advanced degree programs, attending a graduate or professional school fair can be invaluable. On Oct. 2, OCS hosted its annual Graduate School Exploration Fair featuring representatives from 52 colleges and 86 college representatives – an event you definitely didn’t want to miss.

During this fair, 352 students engaged in meaningful conversations with representatives from various graduate schools across the nation, making it an excellent opportunity for those considering furthering their education. Attendees gathered vital information about different institutions and the diverse degree programs available, allowing them to explore their options, gain insider insights and identify which schools and programs align best with their academic and career aspirations.

OCS and TRIO Programs will collaborate to host a Spring Graduate School Fair on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025. Be sure to follow us on major social media platforms @ncatocs for updates.
