EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. (Dec. 16, 2019) – More than 1,000 students became alumni (some two-time) of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Dec. 14, following fall commencement ceremonies. The ceremony included students that completed their studies during summer sessions as well.
Keynote speaker and alumna, Kelly Richmond Pope, Ph.D. ’96 encouraged graduates to promise to: continue to learn, give themselves time to develop, do something bigger than themselves and cherish memories with their family and those who helped them get to where they are.
Kelly added, “Airport runways are longer for takeoff than for landing. We live in a landing culture. The takeoff is where the true lessons are learned…school may be over, but learning never ends.”
Here are a few photos from Saturday’s ceremony.
