B.S. Secondary Education (Biology)

Within our country's secondary education school system (grades 8-12), teaching in the sciences is one of the areas of highest demand for new teachers. Our program in secondary education seeks to provide future teachers with an outstanding curriculum and experience from which to pursue a successful career in education.

The curriculum for the B.S. in Secondary Education provides for in-depth training in both the scientific discipline and the professional practice of teaching. Please note that what is shown below is for reference purposes only. Official curriculum guides for undergraduate majors in the biology department are part of the North Carolina A&T Undergraduate Bulletin.
