Council of Presidents

The Council of Presidents (COP) serves as the umbrella group for all registered student organizations on the campus of North Carolina A&T State University. Their purpose is to assist, advocate, govern, and serve as a liaison between the university and these groups. The executive board is made up of the presidents and/or the vice presidents of each respective organization.

Should you need to reach the COP E-board about starting a new organization, have questions about your organization's status, or challenges your organization is facing here on campus, feel free to contact us via email at copeboard@ncat.edu.

We encourage you to look for the group that best suits you!

Game Plan:  Cultivating Organizational Potential

The Council of Presidents believes that successful organizations don't happen by chance; they are built through intentional leadership, thoughtful preparation, and purposeful action. Our 2026–2027 Theme, Game Plan: Cultivating Organizational Potential, reflects our commitment to helping student organizations not just exist—but succeed with intention.

In every successful season, a strong game plan sets the foundation for growth and achievement. Through this theme, we encourage organizations to:

  • Champion their members, missions, and communities by leading with passion, advocacy, and pride.
  • Organize their resources, teams, and goals to build strong foundations for sustainable success.
  • Plan strategically for the future by setting clear objectives, preparing for challenges, and executing with purpose.

Through every program, service initiative, and campus tradition, student organizations play a vital role in shaping the Aggie experience. COP remains committed to providing the tools, guidance, and support organizations need to strengthen their leadership, maximize their potential, and achieve their goals.
