The Student Health Center (SHC) has a number of policies and guidelines to ensure that all students are treated with integrity and receive high-quality and confidential treatment.

Appointment Info

The Student Health Center uses an appointment system and accepts walk-ins. Appointments can be made by calling 336-334-7880 or through the online student portal. For unexpected problems, you may walk in and be assessed by the healthcare team. Depending on the assessment, you may be asked to schedule an appointment.

It is imperative that you keep your allotted appointment time. If you can not keep your appointment, then you must cancel at least three hours before the scheduled time. If you miss your appointment and do not cancel, a $25 charge will be put on your student account.

Self Check-In

In an effort to promote accuracy and efficiency, the Student Health Center has implemented a Self Check-in System for your convenience. Check-in Kiosks are located in the Student Health Center lobby.

The following documents are needed for check-in:

  • Student ID
  • Insurance card
  • Prescription card
