Research Compliance and Ethics

The Office of Research Compliance and Ethics is committed to achieving the highest standards of excellence and integrity in all its research endeavors and promoting the ethical conduct of research.

The primary goal of the Office of Research Compliance and Ethics is to educate the North Carolina A&T research community about regulatory requirements and ethical standards governing research. Faculty and students are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and policies.

Contact the Research Compliance Office for assistance with applying for approval though the compliance committees, interpretation of regulatory guidelines, Export Control guidance, Research Misconduct process and Conflict of Interest concerns.

The "Let's Talk About It: All Compliance Isn't IRB" event will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 17 from noon to 1 p.m. in conference room 410 at Fort IRC. Join us to discuss topics surrounding research compliance. If you are involved in the design, implementation, review or oversight of scientific research, this is the panel for you! Director of the Office of Research Compliance and Ethics Stephanie Evans will facilitate a discussion with panelists Dr. Alan Goble, Jessica Stukes, Dr. Robert Newman and James Smith.
