Aggie Success Leader (ASL)
The Aggie Success Leader (ASL) position is a year-round undergraduate student employment opportunity. ASLs serve as the face of Orientation, assisting in welcoming new students and transfer students to the university. This role provides invaluable experience in leadership, public speaking, networking, and peer mentorship. ASLs work directly with incoming students to help them navigate the transition to college, while also contributing to large-scale Orientation events and programs throughout the year.
Media Team
The Media Team is composed of creative students who produce, curate, and promote digital content for the office. Team members work on photography, videography, graphic design, social media, and storytelling projects that showcase the new student experience. Students in these positions build strong portfolios that support future career opportunities in media, marketing, and communications.
Student Office Assistant
Student Office Assistants support the daily operations of the Office of Orientation and New Student Programs. They assist with phone and email communication, provide customer service to students and families, help manage administrative tasks, and support preparations for orientation events. This role offers experience in office operations, communication, organization, and professional customer service.
Graduate Assistant (GA)
Our Graduate Assistant (GA) position offers a hands-on, immersive experience in facilitating Orientation programs. GAs collaborate closely with professional staff, student leaders, and incoming students to manage logistics, coordinate large events, and support the overall Orientation experience. This position is an excellent opportunity to develop skills in project management, event planning, communication, and leadership while gaining insight into the operations of a dynamic student-focused office.
