Bio

Dr. Sabrina Johnson is an Assistant Professor of Counselor Education & Supervision in the Department of Counseling at North Carolina A&T State University. She earned her PhD from the CACREP-accredited Counselor Education & Supervision program at the University of South Carolina in 2023. She also holds an Educational Specialist degree in Counselor Education with a focus on Marriage, Couples, & Family counseling, as well as a Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences and a Bachelors of Art in Experimental Psychology. Her research interests include using AI to enhance multicultural training in counseling and other health-related concentrations, understanding the neurophysiological characteristics of culturally responsive healthcare providers, and understanding the development of cultural humility.
