The NC A&T State University's Esports Program aspires to provide high-energy, gaming-related activities to students of every skill level.

Welcome to North Carolina A&T State University's Esports Program!  Esports is home to collegiate-level gaming! Established in 2020, our program has been growing since its creation.  We focus on allowing students to play the games they love competitively. The Esports lab, located in room 222 in the Student Center, includes 12 Benq Zowie gaming monitors, 10 Playstation 5s, 10 Nintendo Switches, seven Dell Alienware PCs, three Xbox Series Xs and two large screen televisions. Upon visiting our lab, you will find students playing games like - Overwatch, Call of Duty, Tekken 8, Smash Brothers, Madden Football and more!

Our Esports program operates on 3 levels:

  • We compete against other colleges and universities across the country in different games. We compete in NACE (National Association of Collegiate Esports) as well as the HBCU Esports league.
  • We host tournaments on campus for our campus community.
  • We play casually with friends in the Esports lab. All gamers and friends of gamers with positive attitudes are welcome in the Esports lab.
