Discover D.C.: Culture, History & Global Pathways - May 2026

This experience offers students an immersive journey through the cultural and international landscape of Washington, D.C. Led by the Office of International Affairs, the program provides a unique opportunity to explore global cultures without leaving the U.S. It is intentionally aligned with Passport D.C., a month-long celebration of international culture held every May in the nation's capital. Through embassy open houses, cultural festivals, global food tastings, and artistic performances, Passport D.C. showcases the diversity of over 60 countries. Students engage directly with diplomats and cultural representatives during events such as the Around the World Embassy Tour and the EU Open House, gaining firsthand insight into global traditions, customs, and perspectives. This experience underscores D.C.’s role as a hub for international diplomacy and cross-cultural exchange, making it an ideal learning environment for students preparing to become globally engaged citizens. Learn more about Passport D.C. here
