Budget Development for National Science Foundation Proposals webinar
The Division of Research will host a training event Wednesday, April 9, from 11 a.m. to noon at Fort IRC Room 410. The workshop is titled, “Budget Development for National Science Foundation Proposals.”
A grant proposal budget is an estimate of project costs and a roadmap for the project resource needs. It is an essential component of any grant proposal and requires careful consideration to ensure compliance with the applicable rules and policies that govern sponsored project costs. The budget is a PI’s chance to demonstrate that they intend to use the funder’s investment thoughtfully, effectively, and efficiently. It can also significantly add to the funder’s understanding of their project. Bring your lunch and join us for an engaging session!
The workshop’s learning objective is by the end of the session, participants will learn the fundamentals of grant proposal budgeting as well as grant financial compliance. RSVP for the workshop here.
