Wake up all the teachers, time to teach a new way. Maybe then they'll listen to whatcha have to say...."--1975,

Our Commitment to Faculty

The CTE seeks to support faculty to actively build relationships with students and acknowledge their responsibilities to move beyond the discipline to celebrate the rich heritage and backgrounds of our students. At NC A&T, we help students to succeed in the classroom, in their future careers and to live a life filled with confidence and the desire to do good in the world.

Good teaching is vital to student success. Our students are at the center of the teaching and learning process. We support faculty in developing and strengthening their teaching skills through a plethora of programs and services. From the development of culturally relevant learning goals, high quality assessments and active teaching practices, faculty gain a deep understanding of the theories, principles and practices that lead to impactful and relevant teaching. Through our efforts, faculty identify their strengths as teachers and work with the staff to devise approaches and tools for course improvement and teaching innovation.
