While textbooks are free for our students for the next two academic years, now is the perfect time to plan to lower textbook costs in the future. Open educational resources (OERs) and Course Adopted Texts are great alternatives to traditional textbooks. Bluford Library invested in a product called Faculty Select to strengthen its commitment to helping faculty explore textbook alternatives and saving students money. Learn about how to use licensed library ebooks and openly licensed materials via Faculty Select instead of costly textbooks. This workshop will also present research demonstrating the quality and efficacy of OERs. (Approximately 60 minutes)
