Collins Aerospace Computer Science Conference Room
Whether making a trip to the grocery store or flying around the world, human travel in the 21st century is increasingly driven by the computers that control our vehicles, their engines and our transportation systems. Few understand that better than the professionals at Collins Aerospace, the world's largest suppliers or aerospace and defense products. Through their support, the Martin Complex is home to the Collins Aerospace Computer Science Conference Room.
Handsomely furnished and equipped with the latest in videoconferencing technology, the conference room is dedicated to the Department of Computer Science, which has a major presence in the Martin Complex. With fast-growing undergraduate, masters and doctoral programs, the department is heavily involved in creating the courses of study and other academic programming that will shape much of the future in the College of Engineering.
Students who graduate from this environment will be in demand from major high-technology concerns like Charlotte-based Collins Aerospace and their peers from Silicon Valley to Washington, D.C.
