Residential Education
Residential Education is a valued part of Housing and Residence Life and is overseen by the Associate Director for Residential Education. The primary goal is to provide students with opportunities to explore learning experiences inside and outside the classroom. We provide an educational program known as Academic Retention and Student Success (ARASS).

Academic Retention and Student Success is a residential educational program established to foster student learning outcomes, retention, and engagement. The program provides students with resources to achieve academic success while living on campus.
Residential Learning Community Program
The Residential Learning Community Program (RLC) at North Carolina A&T recognizes that college students learn both in and out of the classroom. Since 2010, Housing and Residence Life has collaborated with our academic and student affairs partners to complement the classroom experience inside the residence halls. Through the Residential Learning Communities, we offer students an opportunity to live and learn together in an integrated academic residential environment. This dynamic residential experience has offered specialized programming, interactions with NC A&T faculty and staff, and a supportive community that focuses on student success. We offer ten (10) residential learning communities; six (6) living-learning communities and four (4) theme communities.A living learning community is a group of people that live together with a shared experience, idea, philosophy, etc and share a class.
