Speight Hall
Speight Hall is named in honor of Velma R. Speight '53, Ph.D., whose tremendous leadership has helped shaped the engagement of this University. Dr. Speight had a distinguished career after graduating from A&T. She returned to campus in 1991 as Director of Alumni Affairs and was named Administrator of the Year. She is the first alumna elected to serve on the A&T Board of Trustees in 1998 and served as chair in 2005.
