Liberal Studies Affiliate Student Organizations
Through our department’s three concentrations (African American Studies, Pre-Law, and Applied Cultural Thought) and minors in Spanish, French, and Philosophy, Liberal Studies students are equipped with skills necessary to excel in a rapidly changing world. The following list of affiliate student organizations speaks to our course offerings and promotes a greater sense of social awareness, community building, leadership, and scholarship in students. It is our hope that by joining and actively participating in these and other student organizations, our majors will become more aware of the complexity of the world community and cultivate a better understanding of their responsibilities to it.
Caribbean Student Association
The Caribbean Students Association is an information and support center for students of all origins. It has an emphasis on academics, culture, and social interaction by providing activities and events to which its members and University community can relate.

National Association for the Advancement of Colored People
Founded in 1909, the NAACP is the nation's oldest and largest civil rights organization. From the ballot box to the classroom, the thousands of dedicated workers, organizers, leaders and members who make up the NAACP continue to fight for social justice for all Americans.

National Black Law Students Association
NBLSA is an organization that assists aspiring law students with the information, tools, and materials needed for law school. It is an organization that offers students a chance to receive guidance and instruction from law school students, Advisors and Dean's. NBLSA offers so much more, so feel free to join for the academic school year. Get ready, this year will be a phenomenal year!

National Council for Negro Women
The National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) is a non-profit organization founded in 1935 with the mission to advance the opportunities and the quality of life for African American women, their families, and communities. Mary McLeod Bethune was the founder of NCNW and wanted to encourage the participation of Negro Women in civic, political, economic and educational activities and institutions.

Office of Intercultural Engagement
The Office of Intercultural Engagement supports independent expression of all multicultural groups, while promoting collective experiences within the University community. The Multicultural Student Center maintains an open-door policy encouraging individuals and organizations to come by and use our resources or to discuss issues they may have concerning their A&T experience.

Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity
Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International is a professional law fraternity advancing integrity, compassion and courage through service to the student, the school, the profession and the community. It is the preeminent law fraternity promoting the bonds of fraternalism, and its members are leaders in the development and advancement of professional ideals. It is co-ed and open to all majors and classes.

Testimonial Tuesday
Testimonial Tuesday is a support community for Aggies at the Goal Line (AGL) students working toward degree completion. In this group, students are part of a network of like-minded and experienced individuals who assist each other in overcoming many of the challenges of returning to school.
