Informal Resolution
Informal resolution is not appropriate or available in all cases. However, in certain cases where both parties agree, some incidents of sexual harassment and other Title IX misconduct may be resolved through an informal resolution process without a full investigation.
If the option to resolve the matter informally is available and appropriate, the Title IX Coordinator will work with parties to reach a mutually acceptable resolution. Informal resolution is voluntary, and both parties must be in agreement in order to attempt to resolve the matter informally.
