Steve Bock

Mr.Stephen Bock - M.S., CSP, CAWC, ASSP. - email:sebock@ncat.edu

Steve has more than 23 years of experience in the health and safety field. Prior to joining Accident Fund, he spent almost 15 years at Zenith Insurance Company most recently working as a transportation specialist.

Steve earned a master’s degree in Safety Management from West Virginia University and obtained an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation. He has also earned the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Authority on Workers’ Compensation (CAWC) designations. He is a member of the North Carolina Chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP).

Ignatius Chukwu

Dr. Ignatius Chukwu Ph.D.; PMI - email: iochukwu@ncat.edu     

Ignatius has over three decades of commercial and residential construction experiences. He has international project management experience supervising vertical and lateral construction projects. His vertical construction experiences include building church cathedral, single family homes, and multistory/multifamily residential homes. His lateral construction experiences include construction of culverts and pond restorations to improve water quality to meet regulatory requirements, install and maintain wastewater collection and water distribution infrastructures to improve the quality and economic life of the citizens, while applying advanced technologies to reduce construction impact on the environment.  His certiifications include: Project Management Professional (PMP), A-Distribution Certification, CS Grade 4 Certification. Cyndia Matthews

Cyndia is a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University. She graduated in May of 2007 with a Master of Science in Industrial Technology with a Concentration in Environmental and Occupational Safety and Health. In 2011, I became an adjunct professor teaching EHS 101 in the Fall and Spring semesters and Hazmat Training in the Spring semester. I love working with the students to help them learn the basics of safety and how to cope with everyday life. On my full-time job, I am a Human Resources Generalist with Cook Medical in Winston-Salem, NC. I’m a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc, and in my spare time, I love traveling, spending quality time with my family, friends and sorors.

Robert Pyle

Dr. Robert Pyle - pyler@ncat.edu

With 46 years of dedicated service to North Carolina A&T State University, Dr. Robert Pyle began his academic career at NCA&T State University in 1974. Over the years, he has served in both administrative and faculty roles. Dr. Pyle's dedication to teaching excellence is remarkable. He is a great teacher, researcher, and mentor to junior faculty members. Dr. Pyle's contribution to the growth of the department of built environment cannot be over-emphasized.
