Thomas & Berdenia Stanley Ideation Lounge
Throughout history, many great thinkers and inventors have had a special relationship with food, from Leonardo DaVinci to Benjamin Franklin to Dr. Patricia Bath, the first Black woman physician to earn a U.S. patent. That great minds need good food to fuel them is a concept underscored in the Thomas & Berdenia Stanley Ideation Lounge.
An open-air space on the Martin Complex's second floor, the lounge provides a food preparation area as well as access to refrigerated drinks and comfortable table and sofa seating on which to spend time with classmates or colleagues or preparing for an upcoming exam.
No reservations are necessary for the lounge, which accommodates users on a first-come, first-served basis.
