A Historical Journey Through Aggieland: 130 Years of A&T
Few universities boast a history and current state as rich, interesting and diverse as North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. The first institution founded in North Carolina under the 1890 Morrill Act, and the first college to celebrate Negro History Week at its inception in 1926, the alma mater of the A&T Four, North Carolina A&T today is a thriving, land grant research university, America’s largest and top-rated historically black university.
There is simply no other place in this country like it, by way of influence, impact and innovation.
