N.C. A&T to Host Two-Day Community & Economic Engagement Summit

The Office of Community Engagement at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University will host a Community & Economic Engagement Summit on Tuesday, Oct. 25, and Wednesday, Oct. 26, co-sponsored by CVS Health. The summit, “Surviving and Thriving in a Post-Pandemic Economy,” will take place on campus at the Alumni-Foundation Event Center, 200 N. Benbow Road, Greensboro.

N.C. A&T Works with Guilford County Schools to Build Community Education Center

Guilford County Schools (GCS) Superintendent Sharon L. Contreras and North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University Chancellor Harold A. Martin Sr. are pleased to announce that the district and the university are working with Gateway Research Park Inc., a joint venture partnership of North Carolina A&T and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, to build a Community Education Center.

N.C. A&T’s Giddings, Smallwood Named to 2022 Executive Leadership Institute

North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University Interim Senior Vice Provost Valerie Giddings, Ph.D., and Interim Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education Arwin Smallwood, Ph.D., have been selected to participate in the University of North Carolina System’s 2022 Executive Leadership Institute. This is the third cohort of the program, which is designed to build the next generation of top leadership from within the UNC System.
