Gaming and Cyber-Secure Smart Lab
Our lab provides a platform for students to learn established game development techniques and to augment those techniques with fresh and diverse perspectives. We are also exploring ways to exploit the power of virtual and augmented reality to train and teach complex skills in safe and affordable ways.
Additionally, we are engaged in educating students about the security risks related to the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem. We are developing an IoT testbed as a platform for deeper analysis of how to identify and mitigate the security vulnerabilities inherent in many existing smart devices incorporated in IoT. The lab will include different configurations of smart devices and sensors to allow hands-on exploration and experimentation.
